Mahina Girl.wmv

A few clips from a delivery I did from Honolulu Hawaii to Portland Oregon, on a 47 ft sailing catamaran called "Mahina Girl". The owner and his son went along as crew, as well as one of their friends. We were 18 days underway after a few days getting ready in Hawaii. Unfortunately the wave clips don't really give a feel of the massive size of the waves at the time. We saw only three other vessels during the entire voyage: 2 cargo ships and one other sailing vessel. Two of these were withing one day of landfall in Oregon. Many Albatross and other birds circled us constantly. A few dolphins and whales, but not many. We caught dorado or tuna every time we put out a lure. Needless to say, we didn't touch the Spam we had stowed.
