A long time ago, in a lifetime far removed from this one, I used to build model kits like they were going out of fashion (which they did, after a fashion (?)). Every Saturday, armed with that week's pocket money, I'd head down to the local model shop (Brian Sheriffs if anyone cares to know) and in half an hour, my money would be gone, replaced instead with a pounding heart and a smiling face as I eagerly sat on the bus home to begin construction on my latest purchase - sneaking peaks inside the box to get a feel for the kit, be that a plane, tank, boat or whatever took my fancy! Although this was a later attempt to rekindle that passion by combining it with another - an attempt that has since ground to a halt - I would really like to complete this at some stage in the not too distant future!
